Behind the Scenes peak at Star Trek and Universal Monsters

Nice to see Treks and Monsters getting some face-time!
Art Asylum Blog s Star Trek and Universal Monsters Retro Figures

Someday, it would be great to see those packages that Doc and Joe supply DST (and Matty and the other partners).

What issue of Previews were Pike and M-113 in?
There is a table in our office that works out the math.

I'm glad Chris Schaff is getting some recognition. He has been
working with us almost from the beginning and has been great
to work with. I can tell you that he AND his boss Chuck Terceira
        are big mego fans.

If you click on the link to Diamond Select Universal toys at the end of the blog, it takes you to a page that shows the Universal Monsters available 7-7-2011. Is this a typo, or a reason for me to be extremely excited? Ive been under the assumption that they come out every late October or early November. Granted, the price is around $150.00, which I assume would be for a case.... Can someone clear this up?

Reading that article, a person not in the know, might come away thinking Art Asylum was behind the resurgence of Star Trek Mego-like figures, Paul and not EMCE. If you're OK with the article then no worries. That's just my take.

Kind of interesting, but useless without larger pics to go with the thumbnails.
