I have data on our Trek line that we can't disclose specifics on but let's just say that it is the diametric opposite of "lower than expected sales".

Wanna see how poorly this line is doing? Wait to see what gets shown at Comic Con in July.

Re: more Trek, I'm with Zorro. EMCE keeps making 'em, I'll keep buying 'em. Especially if they ever get around to the later Trek series (TNG, DS9, Voyager, etc.).
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Could the trouble in finding them on the shelves be contributed to higher than expected sales and misjudging production quantities to meet demand?

I have been thinking about this a little lately, I have seen every wave (of DC heroes) multiple times at our TRU except wave 4 (and Mattel did say it was having shipping issues) and they have always sold except a few stragglers. I have wondered if they were restocked where they were sold out first causing a shortage at other locations?
My posts were needlessly deleted ...

is'nt there a difference between the amount of items sold to a retailer, and the amount of items that retailer sells. same can be said of any item which goes on sale, its why items hit discount bins, like the those brother figures at toys r us now.as well as some of the 12 dollar sales on amzon for the repro trek items and others. I always want to know the actual nuber of items sold at the retail store level, not the amount of items purchased for sale by retailers.
