Star Trek DST Bridge question

Finally picked up the Bridge, and was elated to! problem is there are no hooks to hang the screens from!!! seems they are broken off! and worse NOT IN THE BOX!!!! does anyone know if this is common? and also if ii's possible to pop off the broken one for a replacement?

Ok just opened it and my hooks are fine. Had to open it at some point, right?

It looks just like I remembered it. Have to get out my EMCE's and play. I take some online surveys and they pay in Amazon money so I got it basically for free. Maybe I'll post some pics if I get ambitious.

I couldn't resist playing with it either. I got the original when i was a kid, and was VERY sick. I was hospitalized for an eternity with a very scary strain of Menengitus. I lived in a bubble for months, and was only 4! The only peace I had, was when eating dinner, and watching Star Trek, which i called "Spock" every time relatives asked me what i wanted i would say Spock dolls. Needless I had about 6 spocks, and nobody else. My mom and dad realized i called the show "spock" when i asked for the guy with the yellow shirt, and the girl.
When I came home for christmas, i got the bridge set, Uhura, Klingon and Kirk. under the tree. I felt just the same joy opening this one today!


Now i find item is not eligible for an exchange, only a refund, which i have to pay return shipping! this is why i hate buying toys by mail!!!!!

Sorry to hear that. I'm recovering from a third foot surgery in 4 years and can't get around so I'm using Amazon for these things.

It's a great reissue. I"m a playset geek, & sorely miss them.

Now if only DST would re-do the ST Gamma playset!

Gamma playset would RULE!!!!!!!even if just put out without a star trek motif... Lost adventurer idol palace...lol Great versitile toy! it got many plays as a star wars yavin base, army men base, insiana jones base, the list goes on and on best playest ever.

Actually, I got mine from Amazon, too. When I opened it, one of mine was broken off, but the other was fine. I just figured it was a one-off thing, so I'm surprised to see someone else had the same thing happen. I was actually thinking about taking the good one off and seeing if someone here could cast me a replacement piece, since they're identical.

Test it out w/ scanned copies of the cards (on cardstock). That way you've got nothing to lose.

Amazon would pay for shipping if it came from their warehouse but in the case of the Enterprise, they come from another shipper, Redford films

I had a similar issue with a non-toy purchase from Amazon. They have this thing they call the A-to-Z Guarantee that might help you:

In my case, Amazon ended up crediting my account to make things right, even though the issue was with the marketplace seller.

Great customer service is rare these days... I was definitely impressed.
