Will EMCE ever make the POTA Generals?

Agree! Star Trek figures were all made while only 4 POTA EMCE figures were made. We need the General Ursus/Urko (the one with helmet), the other Ursus/Urko (no helmet, red nose and mouth), and at least the Astronaut. When would we get these?

I seem to recall this being discussed at the time the last POTA wave had been released. The understanding I had was there was not enough interest to continue the line at that time. What has happen since (and whether they still have possession of a license to make them) is another question altogether.Comment

James Franco Andy Serkis Apes
How about the new movie? Does anyone think we will ever get a new mego line from a movie? I guess Venture Bros. is the closest thing to a line from a new media thing thats out as the same time as the toys eh?
On another front, I just got the bug on the Mego Bendies I had forgotten about them. Anyone know how to start collecting or if there is any chance of a repro line?Comment

Diamond's license was only for the first movie as Fox wrote in the
license. Diamond Select intended the first two to be Cornelius
and Urko when the contract issue came up.
It was decided to go with the main 4 Apes to see what interest
there was in the line. Retailer orders were low, Sideshow was
making 12 inch high-end Apes, so the line was put on hold.
Someday I would like to re-visit POTA but the new movie just
drives up the price of the license.Comment

Apes isn't too high on my list, but a new figure of Charleton Heston in a spacesuit would be pretty cool and a great base for so many other Heston adventures... like Soylent Green and Omega Man.Comment
