I'm still planning on getting them all. So far I'm doing good with working them all into the same display.

John Stewart is on a different page than the rest of this set for some reason. Available June 15, 2011 as predicted.
MattyCollector.com Online Store - GL John Stewart

Then back to the old page for Kyle Rayner on July 15, 2011
    MattyCollector.com Online Store - Retro-Action™

I have my calendar set up to remind me with the link so I just have to click and buy when the time comes.

I think replacing Kyle's boots with green Klingon/Pirate boots will be a huge improvement. Mattel has some really clunky boots. Even Guy whom I like a lot as a character that has huge boots they're even bigger. If they would have made those to a smaller scale, in the same way they did all the previous ones, they would have been dead on.

I think Hasbro did a great version of Kyle only in 12 inch, for some reason. I believe that's my favorite looking figure of him. I'll get Kyle and John as well though I would have preferred John's newer look over the retro early version of him. For some reason the character changed a lot when his look did. He seemed to become more popular. Never made any sense that a former marine had a huge afro to me. That's the first thing you lose in the military. Bring on Kilowog. Love the GL corp.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Those 12" DC figures were terrific. I liked the Wally West Flash as well. They did have a mego feel to them, just wish they were mego scale.

It was the seventies when John Stewart was introduced, so it's understandable. He was a civilian architect, and his 'fro wasn't that big compared to others of the era. I think many former soldiers of the Vietnam era grew their hair out back in civilian life... more for the fashion of the time than political statement.

It was the era of "Hair" after all! (I'm jealous)
