Guy Gardner Matty exclusive

This is a unique line. I think you'll have a lot of people sorry they didn't get these after the movie comes out. Great tie in. I'm ignoring the little plastic movie figures and investing in this instead. And I already have, in my mind, the definitive Lantern figure from DC Direct (13-incher). So when I finish collecting this series, I think I'll be content.

When making the prototypes, I have to work with fabric I can find
locally so the jacket for Guy was made from green outdoor pleather
with a black fabric backing. It was difficult to get it to fold and
to stitch the white piping (also vinyl) in place.

Of the three protos I sent Mattel, one had white elastic for the
piping instead of vinyl, and that was the one they showed at
Toy Fair. I'm glad to see that Mattel could get thinner vinyl
for the production version.

I hope to get a Guy Gardner soon; great job on him. I think his smirk and likeness is perfectly captured. Hopefully he won't sell out right away. (Here's hoping I don't go broke at the Comic-con I am attending this weekend.)

Got mine on Tuesday, an impressive figure indeed. The figures keep getting better and better, I really think the quality and detail is improving. I can not wait until July to see whats coming down the pipe-line. I am glad these exculsives are keeping me entertained in the mean time. Next up - John Steward!
