Emce Fixed?

I was right there with everyone else when I ordered the DC Retro Wave 1.

I even paid a little more to ensure that the package would be "minty" by ordering through Entertainment Earth.

When I got them I was shocked to find the strange "Goo" inside the bubbles!

I was so turned off by the Goo that I dropped collecting this line. I like what I am seeing now and was wondering if anyone got this Wave 1 without the strange Goo inside?

the goo was just something sprayed in at the factory to prevent paint rubs. it should have all evaporated by now. this was talked about endlessly when wave 1 had first come out

The Mattel Heroes have come a long way and Shazaam is near perfect

Just really it took awhile for the heroes to get back into action after all these years. I am only upset that there are not Superman Batman on the shelf with updates etc but whatever I am sure things are ahead.

By the way I recall being very upset seeing the R for robin loose off the figure in the plastic bubble. Just for the fun of it can anyone else thing of problems with the original megos occasionally off the shelf?

Okay. Maybe the new Matty figure are not EMCE. I have not been on here for some time now. I am learning. And for the record...mine are still all gunked up with "Goo." Thanks for the amusing responses though...

I bought series one. One was broken and they all had the dripping goo. I didn't get any more...

Or convert them over to Emce or Cast-a-way bodies. That makes everything better.

I have them all except for Cheetah and I Changed all the male bodies except for Flash and Sinestro.

I would think those would be the default body to utilize so it's a given.

For the prototypes for San Diego 2009 I didn't get enough Mattel sample
bodies so Lex Luthor and Sinestro had Dr. Mego bodies. No one noticed
the difference.

I just want to say that when "Dr Mego" (or "Palitoy") pops up on this forum I am in total awe!
