very nice job on the comic con exclusives. I admit, I am not much of a fan of exclusives, but if you are going to do them - add a twist. And that is exactly what you have done with the packaging for both items you have announced. (VB and TZ exclusives).

Looks really great. I'll be picking one up. Personally, I would have rather had 2 bodies & heads (I'm assuming there will only be one head in there) and a slightly higher price because I'd like to display both. So given the options of buying 2 of these sets or just displaying one dressed figure, I'm going to have to choose the latter. Probably will attempt painting up a original Kirk head for the second.

Wow. I have to say...really disappointed by the packaging choice for this/these exclusive(s). Would MUCH rather have a standard carded Bob and a standard carded Don on the excellent TZ bubble-cards. These two characters have ZERO in common other than both being TZ characters and both being played by the same actor - packaging them together is weird. I don't want to see the mystic seer packaged with the guy on the plane.

And if you're going with the "special...unique...fantastic deluxe boxed set" angle? Please consider that the people who care most about that are MOC/MIB collectors. As one, I can tell you packaging design and consistency is important. Not only does this item break consistency from the entire line (the only character who would possibly warrant that would be Serling IMO, barring any other characters with size/scale issues), but I don't see anything special about this packaging design. It's a window box...And most disappointing of all? As a MIB collector, I don't even have the choice to display both characters, just a weird amalgamation of the two.

Frankly this feels like more of a way to cut production/sku costs than anything special, unique or fantastic.



I definitely would've bought both figures before...now I'll be passing.

We understand your position. We didn't want to force non-hard core collectors to select one or the other. But - never fear - we have this license for a long time and can certainly make limited edition carded versions if enough people here want them. Just tell us!
