Who has Retro Action figures and Which ones do you have?

I have GL, Luthor and Sinestro, No Desire to collect them all nor do I want to buy them on line takes away the FUN of finding them in the stores I like to pick my figures.....nor will I buy them in comic shops for 30 bucks that's robbery.

Green Lantern was the Mego I always wanted as a Kid anyway so I'm a happy camper with him

I may be on the wrong part of the forum since (don't hit me please!) I never much liked comic book heros besides Buck Rodgers, Flash Gordon and Star Trek. I have Kirk, Spock, Bones, Sulu and an Andorian - and crapped out vintage "bridge" without a handle and missing everything.
I'm so glad EMCE is making these dolls again! I could never quite bring myself to buy the playmates 10 inch ones, and the only real Mego one I ever had was a pantsless Spock. (also the first sewing I ever did trying to make him some black pants...) But the boy next door had the bridge and the crew figures. We would go into the woods out back, beam them down to explore the strange wildlife, and mushroomy man eating plants... then back up to do battle with Klingon warships... I have all of them except manhunter and cheeta. I have some on card and I have altered all the loose ones with new bodies or heads except sinestro and flash I did use the tubing to fix sinestro. Aquaman has a castaway body and dave mcCormick head. Batman is my favorite he has castaway body with shrunk bruce wayne head from the 9inch figure his hands are mattel he is awesome I take him with me on my doctor trips for goodluck.

Nah nobody will hit ya! non heroes was what made Mego a stand out...many of my Fav Megos are not superheroes come on they made The Waltons nobody would even dare do that...that's how great they were......

I have them all that I've found and I searched high and low but most were not bought at TRU. I still need the last wave. Might just order them.

I've got them all. I was too "old" for Megos...didn't even know about them...but now that I'm in my 50's I get to collect the next best thing.

Black Manta and Aquaman. I told myself I wasn't gonna get any of the superheros; that I was just gonna get the many different monsters, creatures and aliens that were coming out. So as far as that goes, i have Universal Monsters, Dark Shadows, Star Trek aliens, Twilight Zone Gremlin, NOTLD Zombie, BBP Ming, Dr Evil, Tigerman, Creepy Classics and Zombie Santa. As far as superheros, I told myself, "thats it- only those two of the superhero series." But I caved! I found and bought Shazam today. They're just so freaking cool! I have zero control over this. The more cool figures that keep coming out, the more I'll lie to my girlfriend! "Uh, no honey, I've had that figure for years.... You've never seen that one?" ;-) I also recently got Castaway's Jesse James and their Flattworld Dracula, not to mention two monsters from Sandy CMonster..... It's official.... I'm addicted...

I started collecting the Heroes loose and carded, I want to do them all , but with all the stuff i already have I just cannot find the space to collect all the heroes and villians and keep a carded and loose version. Villians lost the fight. Although I may add Darkseid and Captain Cold to my carded versions.

Gotta have them all

I have all 4 waves in their original packaging displayed on a shelf. I have the first 2 waves including Green Arrow on a back row raised a couple of inches higher than waves 3 and 4 which are in the front row.

I'll probably spread them to a second shelf as the new Green Lantern figures come out so I can group them all together. If I get fancy, I'll rig a green light to shine on them. hehehe

I got a second Wonder Woman so I could break the seal and do a Zatanna custom.

I also have about 20 or so original megos (restored, some with repro parts) and customs, all in clear boxes to keep the dust off.

I get loads of crap from friends on my "doll collection". Damnit Jim, they are action figures, not DOLLS!

Sorry, only two Aquamen, for my Mego (and FC) Johnny Storm customs.

Waiting on Marvel to get on the retro Mego bandwagon, and focusing on the C/A Spidey and Cap sets..

Yeah, I did that also but I repainted the Aquaman head to give him a different look to make him into a Hank Pym figure.

PS. Marvel will never get on the bandwagon. Sad but true.
