Really... I just got the Retro Action Martian Manhunter and the more I look him, the more convinced I am that the Hawkman is knocking at the door. Think about it... The wings can come from the DC Universe Classics Hawkman figure. What do you think?

Yes, the Justice League is coming together nicely. Take the Martian's shoulder straps and belt, done in yellow, with red trunks. I didn't notice that, until I read your post- then it just jumped out at me! LOL -

Never been a fan of Hawkman, but he'd be an obvious choice for the near future.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

I hope they make them both so it will be easy to make a Vultan from Flash Gordon!!!Comment

I don't see Hawkman being an easy figure to make for the retro line. Should his bare chest include a cloth flesh colored sweater? Should his wings be cloth like Falcon or plastic? How do the wings fit in the bubble package? I'm sure the dudes at EMCE can figure out what's best and surley deliver an awesome figure, but I think some serious obstacles to consider will come first. That said, I'm surprised we hadn't seen him already.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

w/the Martian Manhunter thingy over the chest.
I'd also recommend making the wings as small and thin as possible
with bendable wire imbedded inside to pose the wings however needed...
I doubt that's how they'll make them... but that's how I'd do it...
if until someone told me it wasn't cost effective, I mean!
AFAIC, Hawkman is the number one figure to be added to the line.Last edited by huedell; Mar 28, '11, 11:30 AM."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. I hope they give people the option as they did with Martian Manhunter to have Hawkman with or without a skinned suit. I prefer he has a REAL chest showing through. I hate skinned outfits. Why make a toy of the 2000's look like cheap junk? Mego didn't have a lot of options back in the early 70's but Mattel sure does. There is no reason for Hawkman to have a skinned outfit. Kids today would just laugh at that and not even want one.Comment
