What's wrong with the original? Why can't they just smoothly digitalize it, clean it up, add cutting room floor stuff and re-release it to a modern generation? Why do they have to always remake stuff and it usually looks like crapolia.

So the studio did not learn their lesson after the last debacle and are not going back to the original look of the apes? Their not making these new apes look like those original makeups?

Tim Burton's Apes movie was bad. I've only seen it once and that was when it was in the theaters.

I don't think any pics have been released yet. Just pics of Andy Sirkis in a motion capture suit. I think the apes look like apes to start out with, especially from this pic, but I think he might SPOILER ALERT mutate from experimentation as the films unfolds.
