The good Doc helps a school project!!

I just wanted to say thanks to Doc for helping out our honors high school art class here in good old Tennessee where I teach!! It seems the Honors art class has been bit by the Mego customizing bug (which they have never tried) and ordered some bodies from Doc and he was very helpful!! Mr. Hoose our art teacher came to me and I put him in touch with Dr. Mego and we both appreciate his being so willing to help out!! Who knows we may have a student who will go on to work for a toy company one day!
    Thanks again,
    Neal

Paul is one of the best guys in the collector world. I've been a customer for probably a decade and have never had a problem.

Okay I am intrigued! I would love to do something like this for a costuming unit in my Theatre Arts class! Any advice?

The art classes are using the online tutorials when it comes to customizing mego 8 inch figures..they just purchased a quanity of bodies from Dr Mego. These folks have never done this, but most of these young folks are great sculptors. They are also going to try to make their own cloths for the figures. This is a first time attempt at this sort of thing and I am really excited to see how the projects turns out!

Don't forget the pics when they're done. In progress shots would also be neat to see too.

                Bravo Dr. Mego!

For all the bad rap teachers get these days, there are plenty of great educators out there. My HS art teacher was a huge influence on my career choice. It's great to hear students are interested by the project. And, agree we definitely need to see photos of their work.
