The Cheetah and the power of Shazam!

Just got these in today, and WOW am I impressed!!

I love Cap's face sculpt---his fuller face gives him the 'beefyness' I've always associated with the character, and just the right amount of CC Beck while not being too cartoony to fit in with the other figures in the line. I was on the fence about the gold vs yellow, but now I wouldn't want it any other way.

Cheetah is also superb---the suit, sculpt and boots are perfect. The body is also quite a bit sturdier that I imagined.

I liked Cheetah so much that I purchased another one at a TRU today. This makes me three now. I am going to actually open the third one. I was really amazed that she was still there. Looks like maybe a shorter pack. There was a lot of Flash, Cap Cold's and Wonder Woman's on the pegs for once around here.

This may have already been addressed here already. However, I am some times in and out here at the MM and miss out on some if not most of the conversations that took place. Does anyone know why Shazam's face is on the package instead of Cheetah's?

Thats the first time I saw the cape on Shazam out of the package. I love the fact they did the emblem work on the back side!!!!!! Can't wait till mine get here.

Yeah, the doubts I had about Shazam when that prototypre was shown now have me firmly implanting my foot in my mouth. That Shazam is sharp, sharp, sharp! It looks great carded too!

I noticed Shazam's lighting bolt didn't run into his belt, too. It looks like there was some variance during manufacturing.

The back of his cape looks fantastic!

couple notes here now that i'm seeing him at this angle (and thanx for shooting him with the cape in proper over-the-shoulder cap fashion!)

1. relieved that the bolt is above the belt. that shows that it's a simple out-of-the-package adjustment

2. there's supposed to be a gold button at the corner of the flap. not on this one, or is that consistent?

3. also, the flap seems to be too far over to one side...is that something you can adjust by tugging it over?

4. i'm STUNNED at the quality of the gold they used all over. Wow. Especially on the cape, where it's positively reflective. Even better than the color we specced out.

I will take a bow for the design of the cape, an issue that has bothered me since my original Cap mego from childhood. Always thought the yellow fabric was a cop-out. Worked had to make sure the border, the frogs and the collar flap were accurate.

Still gotta get a couple for myself so I can try to do the CC beck squint on one of them...

Anyway, glad people are pleased.

The flap can be adjusted to the side, no problem. There isn't a gold button on mine, and I don't think any of the other pics have had it either.

The gold is outstanding, and the photo doesn't come close to doing it justice.

Definitely pleased! Like you, I thought it was just them being lazy when it came to the cape's design. That's the first thing I noticed on this Captain Marvel.

how is the sturdiness of the shazam figure? any floppiness? I have sworn off this line, but love this character so much, I am tempted.

Cap looks like my late Uncle Bob from when he was young. That's cool.

I think the figure turned out well all around.

Censy, they addressed and fixed the floppy problem with wave 3.
