With Wave 4 showing up will Wave 5 arrive by Summer?

I was surprised today when Enchanted Toy Chest told me 3 DC Wave 4 figures had arrived- ALL except Darkseid! Just after Mattel said at Toy Fair that Wave 4 was scheduled for Summer! I'M HAPPY! Now, I wonder if Wave 5 will arrive by Summer?! Will Mattel announce Wave 5 SOON?!

Joker or Riddler
Supergirl
Bizarro or Brainiac

I think the Matty Exclusives are not part of any wave, remember Green Arrow was extra on Wave 1.

If Wave 4 was originally slated for release in the Summer and it's made it out early, we still probably won't even see anything about Wave 5 until SDCC, and if that's the case, it would be a late Fall/Holiday release, which is what I'm expecting. Just a gut feeling...

It was supposed to be 3 waves per year, and wave 3 was sort of available in December (online pre-orders).
Since the Green Lanterns aren't being released simlutaneously, can we truly call them "a wave"? Even though they have their own blister card for that "set"?
Also, with all the stuff Mattel is putting in stores for the GL movie, what do you think the odds are of them shipping full cases of just Hal Jordan GL's to TRU? I'd like to have a couple on the new bodies for sure

I think we'll all know who the characters in wave 5 are well before they're actually available. So it seems to me that anything Summer would've been seen at Toy Fair no?
I think we'll probably see 8 more figures after the GL set this year. Four in late Summer/early Fall and four around the Holidays ala Wave 2 at the tail end of 2010.

SDCC is 4 months away (UGH!!!), can't they have a preview sooner? Or pick a different mega comicon? For real, they could just show them on here first, seeing that a large chunk of the people who will buy them are museum members

Remember, technically Wave 4 was "premiered" at Toy Fair. That wave hasn't even hit the stores around here yet. So technically they debuted the 4 Shazam figures and the 4 Green Lanterns. 8 figures isn't too, too bad. Having said that, I am ridiculously anxious to hear of the next wave's characters. I just have a feeling we'll all be blown away again!

They will be here soon enough. Patience is the name of the game with these. I like the suspense of guessing who we will see in wave 5.

I enjoy the speculation and anticipation of what mego I always wanted will be made next. I'd never admit it, but the wait IS part of the fun.

Agreed. I love the suspense , also I think Brainiac will make an appearance before all I said and done.
