any news from Spectre and Dark Shadows

I didn't see anything further on the Dark Shadows line that Spectre did last year. Anyone see any updates on this?

We only planned the Flash Gordon line to have two characters from the beginning. We never promised more - sorry! :-) I'll ask about the Dark Shadows line. Finally, we'll know the fate of Lost in a few weeks.

The flash figs look awesome - I'm still waiting on a set from my seller. And Harbingerboy - T's right, the next two NOTLD figures were shown at Toyfair (plus a bunch of seperate zombie offerings) and in the MM podcast interview it was stated that LOST mego sales were actually higher than expected... It sounded more like a media saturation/continued support via pre-order numbers situation. No one said the line had been canceled, just that future waves depended on sales numbers.

making toys, as with any sales driven business, is sort of an organic process. Without initial sales, the lines don't grow. At times products need to be pruned off in order for the parent company to remain productive.

If you wait around for all the figures you want to be made, you will be picking up the pieces after things are over. I can't think of any line I enjoyed from my childhood that managed to have all bases covered at the time. Mego had no Flash or Green Lantern. I would have loved a Doc Ock, but that didn 't stop me from carrying my Spidey around with me in my back pocket. Kenner never gave me a Tarkin or the Lars family, but I continued on with that line as well.

The best way to show that you want more figures made in a line is to purchase what is available when it is available.
