I personally am not a big fan of the squint. I like to see his eyes. But like I said that's just me.

Right there with ya, just exasperated over the process. I think I've mentioned that Cap was my first MEGO and my personal favorite, so I've taken this one to heart more than the others.

Very nice figure. It reminds me of the Jerry ordway version of the character from the Power of Shazam series.

Has anyone else noticed that, after all my hand-wringing over why we needed to make Cap look more contemporary, the illustration on the package is classic "squinty" Cap?

Where's the "bangs head against wall" emoticon...
I wondered about that, but I just figured you were going for the 'surprised' look. I think Jeff Smith did a good interpretation of that one in his Shaz story. The big cheese is mostly squinty. But he gets some good eye popping 'what the?' looks.

The cape on Captain Marvel is great too! Wait until you see the detail they put in that alone! This one may be my favorite yet!! Way to go!!

This entire line is just wonderful. I love each figure, and it's nice to read some consistently positive feedback for once.

Swinging through here can get tiresome, when one ends up reading the terribly negative, mean things people post. To quote Roger Waters, a lot of trolls on this board seem to enjoy "The Bravery of Being Out of Range."

Keep up the great work, EMCE and Paul and Mattel. Rawk.

I'm pleased to see that each wave is improving, being tweaked for both quality & design.

I'm a hardcore fan of the Big Red Cheese, & I think he and Black Adam look great. Love the button tunic.

Never been a big Cap fan...but that is one fine lookin figure! I'd planned to pick up Cap and BA for my carded collection, but I may have to get a couple openers now too!

Love this. Love Cap. He used to outsell Superman but it became his downfall.
I see the Newton influence and it is nice to see it.
Captain Marvel is one of my top 4 favorite characters. I don't like that he has become a watered down superman wannabe. Cap was best when he was whimsical. DC never knew what to do with the character. Beck himself was a very odd individual but he was spot on with his rendition of Cap. DC wouldn't listen to him though and Cap has suffered ever since.
