Absolutely. And it's appreciated. It shows how much you care and fuels more support on my end. I'm excited to see what is coming next. It's a great time to be a Mego-lover.

It's awesome! This wave went from being the first one I wasn't all that excited about to another wave that I want all four figures once again. Shazam just looks so much better. Sincerely, well done guys! Your response has been excellent.

Really looking forward to what wave 5 will bring.

You guys have been doing a really great job on these. I don't have wave 4 yet but I know I'll be buying each one and I was on the fence so long about Black Adam. I hope the padded suits can be used to make a Penguin and Solomon Grundy. I'm loving the line so much. Easily the most important of all toylines out there right now to me. I'm just hoping to see all the rest of the classic Megos done (Joker,Penguin,Robin,Catwoman,Riddler,Batgirl,Supe rgirl and even Mr. Mxyzptlk) because the versions you guys are doing are so much nicer. Each old Mego deserves a do-over. I hope a lot of these show up in waves 5 and 6.

The paint apps are far superior to the prototype.

I'm so looking forward to getting this figure, as well as the rest of the wave. The head sculpt looks like a "greatest hits" Shazam. I can see CC Beck, Alex Ross, Don Newton, and some Jeff Smith in that sculpt.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

                        Whoah!

I like that folks are hooked on the line. I'm into 8" for SCI Fi and Horror. It's nice to have a peek at whats coming out and NOT be addicted.*

If a DC War and Horror Wave hits I'm on it. I don't expect it, it's okay. ( Swamp Thing, Demon, Phantom Stranger, GI Robot)
I do like the button across tunic on Capt Marvel. You never know. I might change my mind in a few years and horde them all up . . . . . . .

Well put. The cc beck style is iconic only to us hardcore old school fans...unlike superman, he has been drawn so many ways in the shadows of semi-obscurity for decades. So, now that he is so visible, thanks to the various justice league and other animations, the challenge was how to sculpture him with all those notes.

For cc beck fans with a little skill: we've been toying with the idea of painting over the eyes to achieve that "squint"...when we get back from toy fair we're gonna try it with one of ours...

I spotted a thread here last night, appears to be gone but it bothered me enough to post this...

This is one of the few toy lines I collect.
The only one of two, that I have every item released.
Knowing a little about toys, you can't always predict what will come back from an overseas factory.
But you can see the improvement on each lesson learned in subsequent releases in costume execution, sculpting, etc.
In regards to some of the complaints (boots, gauntlets, wobbly body, etc.) please remember that these are not the 13" collector figures.
I appreciate the fact these sit with my old Megos in scale and style.
They look as if Mego were still cranking these out.
Mego would have eventually tried new bodies, paint apps, material applications. etc.
I look forward to every wave.
Let's appreciate what we have and be nice to each other!
Life is too short to argue about toys.

                                Okay, stop the presses.

Has anyone else noticed that, after all my hand-wringing over why we needed to make Cap look more contemporary, the illustration on the package is classic "squinty" Cap?

Where's the "bangs head against wall" emoticon...
