It'd be wonderful to see the following waves:

Phantom of the Opera & the Invisible Man

Mr. Hyde & Quasimodo

Metaluna Mutant & Mole-Man


Admittedly, the last two sets are long-shots.

Long-shots? With the number of collectors that had that green universal monsters lunch box? No way! Long-shot would be a Gwynplaine from The Man Who Laughs (though I personally would really dig that).

I was actually thinking the same thing... my release schedule was almost identical too:

Could throw Werewolf of London in there and the Creature Walks Among Us mutation in there too.

Is there a Mr. Hyde that falls under the Universal banner? Other than that problem, that's a great guess lineup.

Boris Karloff played Dr. Jekyll/Mr Hyde in Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. That's the only one Universal has the rights to.

I would like to see EMCE expand this line dramaticly. I would love to see some humans.
Colin Clive as Dr Frankenstein, Dwight Fry as Fritz and Renfield. We could even see Opensky as Malivea, Evelelyn Ankers as Gwen Conliff and of coures Claude Rains as Sir John Talbot.

Oh, I see. Lugosi sprang to my mind too because of the costume...I guess I associate that costume with Lugosi.

Anyway I will probably be very tempted.

Remembering Sideshow's bouts with obtaining the Lugosi likeness, I assumed this was still a major road block in licensing Universal Monsters, especially after seeing DST's new Dracula in its 7" TRU exclusive action figure line at NYTF...that thing is so far off from Lugosi it looks like something out of Fright Night. Heck, Toy Island's BAF series Drac looked better... :(

This Drac looks perfect tho, all things considered. Now, if I could only FIND S1 in-store...

Will Drac be getting unique hands like the other 3 have? Or is it standard Mego style ones for him?

I'm hoping we'll see like four figures per year instead of two.
I can't hold my breath for that long anymore....

And yes, a Doctor Frankenstein, maybe with some lab equipment would be a great addition. How about a Doctor F. and Ygor two-pack?

Or how about releasing a Karloff monster, Bride, Doctor F. and Ygor, each with a piece of the lab? Collect all four and build the whole lab...
