    Retro Action Display

Well, heres pictures of the Retro action display at toy fair...the whole display...Sadly, nothing new shown. Unless theres another display to be unveiled, it looks to me like we may have to wait until comic con for any major announcements!

    I HOPE IM WRONG!!!!!!

Yeah, I have a feeling that seeing the Wave 4 figures for sale on E-bay so early (the last couple of weeks) kind of spoiled the Wave 4 Toy Fair'11 surprise, which in turn would've made these Toy Fair pictures more impactful and "debut-like" to us. It certainly contributes to our collective anxiety for Wave 5; having seen Wave 4 before Toy Fair. In either case, all that matters is that we have confirmation that there WILL be more to come!

        There is more

I have a feeling we will see more, I do not think Dr Mego would have said there is more to come if we were not going to see them. Toyfair lasts a few days, right?

Looking at the pics it was like a big reveal hit me in the head. For me (up until this very moment) it's been like every announcement has been another "Hold on, Mego is almost back. Keep dreaming." But now with all of the stuff posted here so far and specifically these new RA heroes the reality has set in. Mego's ARE back. There is no more waiting. No more wondering "Will the 8 inch / cloth costumed scale be back?" ... "Will they make it?"

          Yes they HAVE!

There is no more speculation as far as staying power. All of the companies that are releasing the products that we have been treated to so far prove that the 8 inch line is no fluke. EMCE's zombie's... Biff Bang Pow's everything... Mattel's heroes.. Heroes in Action's Presidents and Monster Presidents... and that's not to mention what ZICA and Castaway have in store.

Mego has returned. And this time she not only brought her friends, but they ALL put out.

The only that I'm really waiting for now is the knock offs. These soon to be coming less than's I know are going to be great in an awful way.

And now after all that I must once again pause and say:

          THANK YOU PAUL and JOE!

No doubt. They actually showed a decent amount of figures there. As I said, a lot of us already had the thrill seeing the carded Wave 4's the past couple weeks, so naturally when they're officially unveiled at Toy Fair, they don't pack that initial WOW factor to us...we've seen the debut of "Spring" product, as one would expect. We're just all salvitating so much for the line that the anticipation gets the best of us at times. It's all good though!

I hate the Guy character myself but as a figure I agree, he's cool, I've decided to get one to support the line, he's still clearly a beautiful figure. I assume the GL's are going to come in the same kind of box as Green Arrow did correct? If so, it's a nice way to safely store them away so they don't get damaged. They are only 4 figures and I really don't want an incomplete collection without them so, what the heck. They just won't be on display with the rest of the Heroes is all. John Stewart is sort of growing on me...but I think it's in a weird Black Lightning kind of way, if that makes any sense. The green cards are also beautiful. So I'll grab them after all.
