Not sure if I like Kyle's Head Sculpt...but it's a Prototype, so I'll wait and see how it looks once it's Rotocast.

Kyle reminds me a bit of Hasbro's 12" version, but without the constipated grimace. Those figures had really simple design, and would have looked far better as 8" figures, like these.

Color me impressed with all of them. Love the smirk on Guy and his belt and boots. Love that Sinestro got an updated lantern. Will be getting all 4 for sure.

Kyle is quite horrible looking, right up there with Az-Bat for epic fails. I'll get John and maybe Guy. I planned to collect all the superheroes but this GL line is where I'll have holes in the collection. I wouldn't get an Elongated Man either if they made him, I always despised that character

Kyle's suit worked well at the time. DC was moving away from the Hal JOrdan fiasco and wanted to create a GL that stood out from the predecessors. I was a huge fan of the book and lasted through maybe fifty or so issues of Rayner with Ron Marz and Banks on art. He eventually transitioned into a more GL-like suit like he wears today.

All of the GL figs are top-notch and will be purchased by me.

Having just watched that vid from the Matty rep, I hope the GL exclusive wave does well enough to keep that as a viable channel for new and different Retro product than the TRU stuff.

If the JLU can't keep the production numbers up by utilizing generic bucks and repaints, I have to admit a bit of concern for the retro stuff via Matty.

Hope folks get behind this one in strong numbers.
