They first made 12. These were exclusive to a toy show. I don't remember what show it was. It has been too long. If I remember correctly Dr. Mego thought they had not sold them all. They were going to offer them to MEGO Museum members. It was realized that they had sold them all. They made 12 more and sold them just to Museum members.
