Darkseid is Impresssive

Just got my Darkseid and Black Adam. Darkseid, with the padding, bulkier head, and big boots, is about a half inch taller. I really dig how meancing he looks. There is no doubt this is a bad guy. I also dig the gold on Black Adam, really shiny and sort of magical. Although he does smell like glue? I tried to load pictures but kept getting invalid file messages. Anyways, these are great figures. Please, someone tell me when can I buy Shazam?

Almost pulled the trigger but the fine print is conflicting. He says these are in stock and then later they are on an their way from Mattel and due in 7-10 days.

Darkseid

I will keep trying to get some pics. His body is grey, he has a big manufactures tag on his back but it can be hid by his removable belt. He has black plastic snaps. The padding is well sewn into his tights. Just a great mego-like figure. I can tell there was a lot of thought on how to increase his size but keep him true to the 8 inch format.

I take that back his padding may not be completely stitched in place, consequently I am afraid to take off his body suit because I am not sure if I can get it back on corrrectly. His blue smock is definately sewn to his grey tights, though. The belt is velcro, so be careful of snags. I give thanks for the folks who gave us this most unique figure. It is like nothing we have seen before - good job. The padding is white...

I sure hope this mattel Darkseid sells better than the one Kenner made for the super powers line. I remember seeing super powers Darkseids on beat up cards into the early to mid 90's.
