    lousy packaging/shipping

So far I've had two bad experiences receiving single retro figures in the mail. ToysRUs.com sent me an RA retro figure in a bubble wrap envelope. Figure's card and bubble were damaged.

Now I received a figure from Ka-Boom Toys & Collectibles. Figure was put in a folder type box. Tight fit. And of course bubble on card was crushed. Man it makes me sad receiving these cool remegos in this condition.

Anybody want to give me other places to stay away from based on your experience?

Try Entertainment Earth. I've had 3 figures from there and they arrived just fine.

I almost wish that EMCE, BBP, and others would sell "loose sets", like CTVT does, for a reduced rate...say $10-$15 per figure?

      I know, I know...

Ditto. I too recently ordered from EE for WGH Wave 3 and not only was the shipping fast and safe, but they threw in a few BBP Venture Bros mouse pad and a really neat catalogue. I've a way better understanding of all the cool things they carry as oppossed to simply surfing the web. Point in fact, I had no idea they carried an awesome Wonder Woman poster until the catalogue showed it.

It's really sad to hear the kind of poor customer service TRU is offering, given their "exclusive" rights to these figures. And when you consider Falcon likely paid a high amount for shipping, the company did not provide the service they charged him for. Falcon I would take a picture of your damaged goods and email that to their customer service department and request replacements. You shouldn't have to settle for that crap.

I recomenf getting them from Entertainment Earth or even from Paul .... Dr.mego.com, They always come secure and packaged safely. I have noticed that when I buy singles no matter from where , except the 2 above they are shipped in envelopes , I have moved to ordering strictly sets , and that alleviated that problem instantly..... You can go wrong with EE or DM though.

I've never had any trouble from big bad toy store. I got both GL and Wonder Woman from them.

I usually go with BBTS, too. Never a problem in...ten years? I think?

Amok Time, Bigbadtoystore.com, Entertainment Earth all do an excellent job with shipping.

Don't order from TRU.com. Entertainment Earth is excellent but you are going to pay a little extra for the shipping. Plus, you have to sign for the pacakage, which is, a bone on of contention w/me.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
