Got the Flash

I decided to breakdown and buy the Flash today. I have been highly disappointed in the retro figures bodies and decided I was finished after getting them after buying Batman. I heard there had been a change in the bodies and the Flash was always a dream mego figure of mine. Much to my surprise the figures a much improved with the tighter waste. They go from a grade F to a grade B in my book. Still not as good as CAT. None the less much improved. I have never had a problem with the look of these figures. The Flash is completely awesome and now I have no regret. I'm not sure if I'll even transfer him to a CAT body. Good job on this figure! I can't wait to get the rest of the series.

That's really good to here about the Mattel Bodies. I just recently saw the Flash myself at NewBerry Comics. Unfortunately, I still hate the Head Sculpt...so I didn't buy him.

I'm just curious...If the Flash was a dream Mego of yours why don't you just transplant the head and outfit onto a Mego Type 2 Body? That's what I did to Green Lantern, Sinestro, and Lex Luthor and they look just like Megos...no loss in transition.

I got the Flash also and he's awesome, although mine has 2 right hands. I may swap one out for a fist hand I have lying around. The sculpt looks good, but it really does look different from the first 2 waves, the features on the Flash are less subtle than the previous heroes. Still, awesome figure!

I think Flash looks pretty awesome myself. Still love the tread in the boots!!

I think Flash looks great too. Not to crazy about the small mouths on Aquaman and Batman.

Flash looks good but his legs are loose and to big. I think Im putting him on a mego or cat body.

You could contact the company or where you bought it for a swap.

^^^ I probably will contact Mattel, Newbury comcis didn't have another Flash for exchange and my local TRU hasn't gotten them yet, but a fist might look cool anyway for a character that's always running. I just hope the Mattel hand pulls out without problems.

I put Batman, Superman, and The Green Lanterm on CAT bodies and love it. Not sure I feel the need to do it with the Flash.

The Flash is great. Everything about him is perfect in my book. Wait until you get Capt Cold to go with him! Sweet!
