Wave 4.. VERY interesting fact...

I'm just curious what was done differently from the sculpting of the heads of Wave one...as opposed to wave 2,3 and 4. Seems like the quality of the sculpting has gone down since wave 1. That Black Adam Head does not look right....but I'll wait to see one in person before I get too critical.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I still like the way Black Adam looks. I dig the C.C. Beckness of it. He's not meant to look like the modern version and he was a little goofy looking in the Fawcet comics.

I'm with you...the only thing I don't like is the gold on the costumes. I wish it were yellow.

From what I read in earlier posts, Joe stated the neck was being shortened (at least) on Shazam. So I was left with a hint that the head sculpt may be getting reworked too. I'm going to withhold any critique until I see a production version. I would also like a straight forward shot of Black Adam. That angle in the one auction exaggerates his neck length. Anyone with a Aquaman, just turn him at that angle and he will appear to have a long neck too.

I agree that the neck looks really long and the head looks small. I wonder how he will look next to the others?

That's a shame. I'm buying the line for the suits and heads because the bodies are useless to me... Now I won't even like the suits and heads on the shazam/adam.

I'll be buying Manhunter and Darkseid but heavily customizing both to actually look retro. First time I won't get the whole wave. Sad shrug. (I hope wave 5 is super awesome) ((I also hope Mattel doesn't look at the poor sales of this wave and mistake that for market dip when they count the beans))

Black Adam's costume is acceptable, but the pencil neck of the head and the weak features are a real shame. Why on earth would he have a head like that? Seriously, Mattel.
