    Retro Action in the UK

I popped into the Forbidden Planet store in London today, the first time in quite a number of months. I was pleasantly surprised to see DC Retro Action figures for sale, only Black Manta and Two Face, but I never knew they were available in the UK.

Not only that, they also had Bif Bang Pow figures too, it's great to see they have reached these shores. The only downside was that there wasn't a decent clean card to pick up, they all had wear, especially around the peg hook. Despite that, it felt like being back in the 70s, seeing all these great vintage looking cards up on the pegs. Long may they continue!

Awesome glad these are getting international distribution as well. That is a good sign for this lines duration.

I jump in England every six months only to go to some store (Forbidden Planet, bookstores and more). All figures are sold, even the Star Trek Khan or Night of the Dead linving.
Super store (although I find it less interesting than last ten years).

Forbidden Planet was where I got most of my Trek figures (GOSH comics around the corner had some too) and Ape figures and I pop in there every month or so to see what they have....unfortunately they didn't stock Henchmen 21/24 grrrrr I know it was an exclusive but Forbidden Planet often get some. Went in there today and they had Venture, Twilight, living dead and Black manta & Two face.

I remember the Retro Action figures being £20.99 and the Venture Bros £15.99. I think Twilight Zone were the same as VB.

FP do have a sizeable stock of figures, even though they're a little more expensive in there.

UK branches of TRU on the other hand, have a very poor selection.

                      Hi Rik,

In fact, I order from Utopia (rue du Midi, Brussels). I buy per case and it provides among dealers in Belgium (Intrafin ,...), French, Dutch and German. The price is much lower than the resale price at retail. If you go, you tell him you know me and you should get a discount (10% to 15%) on the prices displayed.

I also buy one from the "la cité des nuages" at waterloo. Lost series is nowadays available (or pre-order), but I find it expensive compared to Star Trek and POTA MSEC.
