Think we'll see any? Hall of justice would be cool. Or perhaps The Batcave. I will die if they bring back The Batmobile.

I think there's a decent chance we could see the Batmobile - here's hoping.
As for playsets, I think it's pretty unlikely. (I would love to be wrong about that.)
Mattel is making a Hall of Justice facade for one of their small-sized lines, though, so hope springs eternal.Last edited by Sandman9580; Jan 24, '11, 3:38 AM.Comment

They just dont do playsets anymore. :-(
Last really great playset I saw was teh 3 3/4 Pirates of teh Carrabian Boat.
I was shocked to see teh Star Trek bridge put out. especially since small comic shops have zero room for something like that.
other than vehicles for lines that are kid supported ( GI Joe and Star Wars) this hobby has simply dropped vehicles and playsets for teh most part.
Ah, the 1980s . . . . . . Doom Tower, Justice Jogger, where have you gone?Comment

I think we live in an age where playsets are not being bought by parents. I doubt we'll see anything.Comment

Which version of the Batmobile do people want to see?
I'm guessing the '66 is out of the question given that it's a separate license? (although Mattel did produce them via Hot Wheels).Comment

It's weird that playsets have been abandoned by the main action figure lines, while lines like Imaginext are full of them. Their Batcave is awesome by the way.
I'd like to see a Batmobile. I hate to even mention this, but if retail won't support it, maybe on MattyCollector? Don't stone me.

Playsets and vehicles are slowly becoming extinct. The problem is they sit and take up a lot of shelf space at retailers. Due this retailers will not order them anymore. Let's not forget the costs associated with production of these. In The " Real World " Vampires Do Not Sparkle. They Burn In the Sun !

As a kid I owned about 4 playsets in total. The Hall of Justice, Ghostbusters Firehouse, Castle Greyskull, and a Batcave (from the 89 Batman figures). I hardly ever played with any of them which angered my parents. I'm glad I still own Ghostbuster HQ and Castle Greyskull. I did and do very much want GIJoe HQ from the 80's. I think I would have played with that one a lot.Comment

Maybe it's a "dollhouse" thing?

I remember my '89 Batcave getting demolished pretty quickly, but I still have my Ghostbusters Firehouse - my favorite playset of all time.Last edited by Sandman9580; Jan 25, '11, 9:06 AM.Comment

Yep.., back in the day, my Joe AT Headquarters doubled/tripled as my Batcave, Hall of Justice, you name it.. I still look at the Playmates Next Gen Bridge every so often on eBay, but folks are still wanting top dollar for it.
That's why I'm glad Scott did all those amazing playsets. Why would we ask about Mattel when Scott's sets were so much better..?Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.
