Is his beard an application?

That is; added to the head after casting and during the paint stage?

I just purchased a Doc from TrUs website and he has no beard, just a little cleft and an odd double chin.

I am looking at the Monarch now, and his goatee looks as if it was added on as well, and not part of the sculpt and casting of the vinyl head. Wow. Learn something new every day.

Yeah, it's a plastic part that's somehow attached to the head. Kind of innovative. That sucks your Rusty didn't get his. TRU is replacing?
