How do you take the bubble off the card?

Any special technique I should know about? I tried to take Aquaman off his Retro Action card without damaging the card to much. I was unsuccessful.

I simply take a kitchen knife and slice along the right hand side just enuf to remove the figure.

I cut a flap under the bottom which allows me to slide him in and out without damaging the aesthetics of the package. Works like a charm! What do I use to cut it? Surprisingly not what you would think. I have one of those DVD cutters that has the tiny pointed blade at the end? I simply run that along either side of the bottom and along the back of the plastic closest to the card and then fold it up to slide the figure out. Here's some photos to illustrate:

The box after the figure is removed. As you can see, everything is clean.

Here is a close up of the flap created. The cut is on the sides and towards the back. Then I simply pull up creating the flap which springs back after the figure is pulled away.

      Here are my DVD cutters.

And here is my Flash back in the package. I'm holding him up so you can see the package still keeps him very much in place.

When you slice the bottom open to make the trap door so to speak, is there good structural integrity left to hold the figure up when you put it back in? If so, I like it!

I take a box knife and cut along the top, edge, and bottom. Not sure why as I never plan on putting them back in the package

I know this is not very cost effective but I buy (2) and open one of them. TJ Maxx has them for half ($9.99) so this kind of makes sense!!

The last pic I have shows the Flash back in his card being held. I know the lighting is bad. But he's sitting in the card with it suspended in the air. There's no support underneath him. I've done this with all of my carded Retros and they have been totally fine when put back in. Now you'll have a slight give underneath since you have cut a flap. But the plastic is plenty sturdy and keeps him in there. It's not like they can plop out or look like their coming out. It's a good hold. But if you want to feel better about it, just run a small piece of transparent tape on it and use that as your tab to open her up. Either way it's cosmetically pleasing to the eye and looks great.
