The emblem on my Retro Batman came off!!!

The emblem came off our Retro-Action Batman today, while my kids and I were playing with it!
It has been slowly loosening since the day we got it.
Is Mattel doing anything for people with figures that the sticker comes off?
If anyone has had experience with this, please let me know.
    Thanks!

    Don't panic...

This is NOT a sticker, it's an iron-on. Here's what you do:

Get some parchment paper, put your iron on a low setting, (not steam). Place the parchment paper over the iron on and gently hold the iron on the emblem.

Disclaimer: I have not actually done this on RAH figures, but I've had lots of experience w/ homemade iron-on emblems on Mego jumpsuits, (3 Rick Springfield figures), and all was well. It should work. If the iron gets too hot, the emblem will be discolored.

My son's came off also. I put it back on and it came off again and before I could repair it, he destroyed it. So I put a paper one on him and guess what...it came off too.

But I don't think he cares as much as I did.

For a while, I was able to keep mine from falling off through the use of fear and intimidation. However, that eventually failed, and I had to superglue it back on. The glue appears to be holding, though I don't know how long it would hold up to kids playing.

I think I might give this a try. The emblem on mine is loose around the edge of the right side.

Rice paper works too. If you have an Avery Iron-on kit, use the paper from that. Remember, parchment can get really hot, so use a low setting. If worse comes to worse, you can always copy/paste a Batman emblem off the internet, and make your own iron-on using the Avery kit. I've done this too, and it worked great.

I use a glue stick on emblems and I find it works fine.

The Doctor is correct. Use a 3M glue stick and let it set for a good long while.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I use Elmer's brand fabric glue stick which forms a semi-flexible (but water soluble) seal that holds really well. However, not much stands up to playwear from kids
An old Irish Blessing - "May those who love us, love us; and if they do not love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He does not turn their hearts, may He turn their ankles, that we may know them by their limping"

Hey waddaya know! Just like the old days! Emblems falling off as a whole I can live with, they can be reapplied. It's when they crack up and flake off I don't like.

We had one fall off on Christmas day. It lasted about 10 hours from the time my son opened it. I have yet to reattach it.

The old emblems were better, though...

                          Thanks for the ideas everyone.
I am scared to try the iron technique, cuz if I ruin it, it's over!
I may try the glue stick, or fabric glue thing.
                          Thanks!
