TJ Maxx find

Finally found heros turning up at a TJ Maxx. ( Buffalo ,Transit Rd for those in the area)'
All Supermans. $9. Unfortunatly ALL had emblem damage. Not peeling but holes in the middle of the emblem. How that happens on a sealed intact card I dont know. Prob at the factory poor quality control. Also every head had black streaks from paint rubs behind it. Couldn't see how bad the damage was on the back of the head.

The emblems totally blew it for me. I mean they had chunks taken out of them. I'm only looking to find them 1. $7 and 2. Black Manta. For $7 I'll over look some of the faults. Frays (Seems every Sinestro I see has fraying gauntlets or messed up collar) Paint rubs. But Sups "S" is his main feature. $ 9 is still too much for that.............Truthfully Hitting TJ MAxx for GI Joe and Transformers. Never knew they had toys till this story came out. They have alot of good older toy lines.

You could have stuck a repro sticker on your retro figure

I expect them to be.... well a little mint buying them new. Even on Clearence. Repos labels and repairs should be for well used original toys. Not new toys.

I think you should lower your standards of the toys to equal the quality of the toys.But this is coming from someone that has only brought home the 2 Face figure.There might be a good one waiting out there for you still.

Nah, I agree with Doc, it's too early on to hhave to deal with defects. If they were $4 or $5, I might be tempted.
Doc, I'm in Rochester and found several Batmen and Aquamen here at TJ Maxx.

Still looking for Batman. All my TJ's sold out of them. I found the other 3 - 3 days before Christmas. Should have looked sooner!
