Are prices for these toys going up?

Wave 1 was easily found for $19.99.

Wave 3 and 4 seem to be (at least at first) in the $23/24 range.

I know they are not eager to lower their price but raising it seems harsh.

Wave 2 and 3 are up there unless you find wave 2 at TJ MAX. if you found wave 4 out there you got to let us know where we can get them

The only place to ensure a standard "retail" price ($19.99) is TRU and maybe AMAZON, the other stores will charge what they think they can get for them.

Wave 1, easy to get, so lower prices for most now.

Wave 2, not so easy to get (anymore), other than TJ MAxx, prices will vary, mostly they will be high.

Wave 3 is only at e-tailers now, so they can charge what they want. TRU when/if ever received, or AMAZON if in sotck, will be $19.99.

Wave 4 is only "pre-orders" now. E-tailers, again, charge what they want for these. TRU (again, if they EVER get them) would sell them for $19.99.

In summary, no.. prices have not gone up, basically, but supply and demand is at work here for the newer waves at non-tru locations.

Diamond's cost to distributors is only a couple bucks less than TRU's retail, so after shipping, it is almost impossible to match TRU's price without taking a loss.
