They are but I think the spotty Mattel distribution is hurting it. I have seen these at my nearest TRU but NOT the DC wave 3.

Seeing they took last year's SDCC exclusive and recast it in glow in the dark colors for the NYCC, I'm guessing it will be something like that. Re-using molds is the way of the toy makers nowadays. There is a new more evil looking head that I've seen somewhere. Might have been TRU. The exclusives are banks. I didn't like the GitD version but was lucky enough to get the standard white SDCC one at NYCC as a left over. It adorns my night stand and holds my change for me.
It's in perfect scale for the original smaller figures and with the removable head it could probably hold 4 or 5 figures and their accessories if they fit in the neckhole. I would rather see an 18" Puffy.
You should also be able to load a can of Lysol in his head so you can make him breathe fire. Oh for the days before child safety laws. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

TRU had the Mego-like Real Ghostbusters. $19.99 each
Case break down:
Peter x3
Egon x2
Ray x2
Winston x1
Tempted but left them all.
No RA DC wave 3. Although I know they have been there cause a friend picked a couple up last week.
A few Venture Brothers left but no EMCE Monsters.

Oddly enough, our TRU, which has been glacial of pace on Mattel, got a shipment of the Real Ghostbusters in on Tuesday. All of 'em available and case fresh. An old Irish Blessing - "May those who love us, love us; and if they do not love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He does not turn their hearts, may He turn their ankles, that we may know them by their limping"Comment

I got mine at TRU. I was thinking of passing on these, until I saw them on the pegs! I took one off the card and was surprised to see the waist moved and yet the figure did not flop! Now my only big body complaint is the loose legs. I would like to be able pose the legs.Comment

They actually packaged and shipped an Egon without a belt! Where was the quality control? I've seen tons of paint rubs on the heads because of how squished the figures are in their package and the stitching quality leads to crooked or uneven pockets or other such errors. Don't ensure quality, and it's a surefire way to kill a line...Comment

I went to a TRU that usually only has LEX & SINESTRO. They recently got a shipment in of The Real Ghostbusters. When I got there, they only had one Ray left. The others were long gone.Comment

I agree quality control is very important but no matter what you do, you are always going to have some issues. The head rubs are just from the figures being unsecured in the bubble. I think they may be moving to add trays from what I read. That's not really Mattels fault because they are trying to recreate the Mego look and feel. The missing belt ........that certainly is a fault of lack of quality control. Anyways ........I have these and I absolutely love them. I didn't get to pick mine from a peg they were picked for me and shipped and they are flawless. I hope they don't have too many of these issues but some are expected. In The " Real World " Vampires Do Not Sparkle. They Burn In the Sun !
