The Black Manta

I really had no intrest in getting this figure because he just looked kinda goofy, not to mention I didn't even no who he was. When I seen him at T.J. Maxx I said ahh why not. I think what was throwing it off was the fact the card is pink, it was even on the peg in the girls toy section. But when I got him home and opened him this guy is awesome!!!! I bought another one the next day. I wish he would have came with a spear like Aquaman. I will definitely be buying some old school Aquaman comics with the Black Manta in them to get aquainted with him.

Just wondering if EMCE plans on making any accesories for the mattel figures?

On a side note just wondering why they gave him an all black body you cant even see it.

Seriously though he is so cool, he looks like he could kick some major butt!

What TJ Max did you find him at? I have checked; rochester, st hgts, Novi. I can't find these at any of them.

I live by the Airport, all of the ones I found were at the one in Monroe but they dont have anymore and I didn't find any at the one in Southgate or the A.J. Wright in Southgate which is basically a T.J. Maxx and owned by the same company I am going to Toledo on tuesday if you want to PM me your phone number and the figures your interested in I could call you if I see anything.

I did not. I went to the toy wall and where the tables are set up.

The pink carded ones, as mentioned in my Aquaman review, are showing up in a lot of the girl sections. The pink card is the exact same shade of pink used in every girls toy on the market right now. So no shocker that they're being placed there.

T.J. Max in NY has yielded zilch. I've visited 2 really big outlets on different days and there's no sign of them.

Welcome to the Manta club.... to guys over 30, like me, if you liked Aquaman back in "the day", Manta was well known.

In fact...to a lot of us , he was the ONLY Aqua-villain we knew

It was BM and Ocean Master. Two cool villains but not much of a Rogues Gallery to say the least.
