I know it may be too early to tell, but I would love a re-issue Batcave, Hall of Justice, Batmobile, Joker Mobile, Batcycle and even beyond with Arkham Asylum, Fortress of Solitude, Jokers Funhouse, Darkseid's Castle, Hall of Doom, etc. What would you like to see with this line ?

Mattel is so afraid of taking chances, they won't even make a Batmobile for the 6" scale DCUC, so I'd say the chances of vehicles and playsets for an 8" line are ZERO.I know it may be too early to tell, but I would love a re-issue Batcave, Hall of Justice, Batmobile, Joker Mobile, Batcycle and even beyond with Arkham Asylum, Fortress of Solitude, Jokers Funhouse, Darkseid's Castle, Hall of Doom, etc. What would you like to see with this line ?

 Sad, but true.

I really think this is the best bet for the 8" collector. After getting to know the economics of this stuff better, it seems that a mass kind of effort is way too expensive to produce. After the Trek bridge repro thing we went through with our friends at Diamond, we all aged ten years.

I still say the Dida display sets that were born right here on the boards is the most ingenious solution. Renegade, you should connect with them a) to make certain you're not duplicating efforts and b) to see if there are any collaborative opportunities that will be best for the community.

As for me, I'm still waiting for my 12" scale GI Joe Aircraft Carrier Comment

 Ingenious, but still not economical.

In my experience, 95% of collectors would rather spend money on figures than displays or playsets to showcase them in.

And the desire to customize your own playset is much weaker than you'd think. This profile is no longer active.Comment

It's a bummer to hear any disheartened vibes on your part Scott
because, frankly, your displays/playsets are some of the most
 fantastic things I've ever seen.

I hope you keep the faith and keep that stuff flowing now & again!"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

Actually....What I was talking about was not a revenue thing...but rather a way for us to enjoy a playset and have other options with the same playset....removable panels...I could see posting the panels as a printable do-it your-self project but of course this is down the road and just my opinion.Comment

I'm not disheartened, just experienced... I broke even but it took a lot of work. Didadisplays is pretty much sold out of inventory now, I just haven't announced it formally.

Still, I am trying something much simpler and DIY with my remaining inventory. Check em out at DidaDisplays.com
These 10x10 displays are selling for 2 for $25 (consoles not included). Print and insert your own artwork or download from mine.

Sorry to intrude on this thread so commercially, but why not...

I agree, these are better than anything I could imagine, if you decide to make this stuff available again, I'm all over them and renegade, I'll be watching for yours too. Comment
