I was just thinking, that with the Cpt.Pike Shirt now created...it would be really easy for EMCE to do a "Where No Man Has Gone Before" Set. Kirk & Spock just need a Shirt change...and then you're just a Gary Mitchell Head Sculpt away.

Heck...if EMCE didn't want to make the whole set...just do Gary Mitchell, and let us Customizers do the rest.

Why? Then you only need to buy ONE figure...to make the proposed customs would require buying TWO figures. One for the body, and one for the outfit.

We said from the beginning we didn't want to do that. In fact, we've joked that once we were down to "Mirror, Mirror" characters we'd be out of the Trek business altogether.

I've always thought that the LJN Robert Urich head could pinch hit as Gary Mitchell. I plan to make one when the Pike figure comes out.

You guys are lucky Paul Clarke/Dr. Mego never listens to my suggestions. If he did I would have you guys going state to state, climbing fences, arriving at stores at the crack of dawn, checking everyplace that sells toys for variants and alternate costumes and one time characters.

"Paul do this and this and and she wore a different uniform once and that guy' hairstyle changed and these two could be a set but if you change the guys pants he can be released a second time as a single figure and this guy was in 2 episodes but his uniform can go on a another guy that only appeared in 1 episode, and you can modify that guys head to be another guy and so on and so on and so on..."

I really like the idea of customizing a 'WNMGB' set, but Emcee will at least have to make a Dr. Piper so we can get a blue tunic & maybe even a Dr. Elizabeth Dahner or even a Number One from The Cage...that would be cool. I don't need repackaging, just customizing fodder
