I'd really like to hear everyone's opinions on this line, particularly the softgoods. I really like how Barnabas' outfit came out, myself

Thanks for posting this. I ordered Angelique and the Werewolf last night. As of today, Werewolf is still on sale ($14.90), but not Angelique. However, they have added a "not mint" Angelique today for $17.99 (regular price is $19.99). Barnabas is still $19.99. I'll post a review when I get them.

The SDCC Chris Jenkins figure is great but I didn't like the flesh color used for Angelique or Barnabas. Barnabas' cane and costume turned out really well and (the cane) is the best Retro Mego accessory to date. Barnabas would benefit from a repaint. I think Flash Gordon/Ming might have the same color issue. I don't know for sure. The figures are to arrive this week. I'm a fan of the Mego tan.

The front packaging turned out really well too but I'm not a fan of the back of the packaging. I would like to see more artwork. Granted Mego did it both ways.

I'm looking forward to picking up Quentin Collins but I might pass on the other figures. The heads seem out of proportion.

        Thx for asking our opinions!

If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I got this bunch of figz today from Entertainment Earth:

I'll reiterate what Chris said about Barnabas' face paint--it's not right. Too yellow. Someone in this forum repainted their Barnabas and showed off the pix, which improved it immensely. Everything else about the Barnabas figure is great, including the costume and cane. Too bad about the face, because this is the figure I wanted most out of this grouping.

I was ok with Angelique's face paint, while her costume and necklace are perfect. The Chris Jennings werewolf is great--I liked it better than the recent Universal Monsters werewolf.

Of the TZ figures, I liked Willie the Dummy best. The face on Talky Tina looks almost green, rather than gray.

Barnabus doesn't look to bad in that pic but I definately see the shift to green in Talking Tina. Do Tina & Willy have jointed knees? Are these smaller, new Doc Mego bodies with all of the posability of the larger ones?

I can't answer your questions, but hopefully someone else is in the know. I'm keeping these on the cards.

I don't blame you Willy was kinda creepy in that Twilight Zone episode. I wouldn't take any chances of him getting loose from that card! LOL

Yes, they are the same articulation as the "adult" figures. Hopefully Doc will be able to sell the kid bodies on his website someday.

Not sure how this thread got past me. I love this line so far. The figures are simply fantastic. The sculpts, the outfits, the bodies, all perfect. I am a huge fan of this show and have 16 of the dvd sets, literaly 100's of episodes! I, for one, hope this lines continues!!!

I have Chris Jennings and Barnabus. Both are really great. Barnabus' outfit is probably my favorite outfit of any figure that came out this year. Anybody know when wave 2 of this line hits?

They don't have the same issue, while they could use some sun they don't have the jaundice that Barnabus had.

Heh, yeah that's true. I was more or less commenting on FG and Ming, who have a normal skin tone but are a touch pale. It doesn't bug me in the overall look hwoever.
