I spoke with my rep at EE and he was excruciatingly vague about it.

      3 waves @ 4 characters each + 1 exclusive = 13

I'm not counting the ones on the drawing boards till I see them on the shelf : )

I just got my Wave 3 from Amok Time today. I love them! I can't believe how nice Captain Cold is. This is the best wave yet.

Ordered my set from Amok Time today. Any ideas on how soon I should expect them?

I will try to keep them on their cards until xmas eve. But who knows; in all the excitement I just might open them all right away!

Wanted to chime in here to say how impressed I am with these new figures. I know I rip on the price being too high, but at the same time I am still very very impressed by them — all of them, warts and all. Flash's nose a little too big? It's okay, still looks great! Wonder Woman's emblem a little too low? No problem, still looks awesome! And Captain Cold? Dam n, he is just perfect looking. Again — like I said when I saw the first wave at TRU — thanks to Doc Mego and everyone involved for keeping this dream alive. Even the figures that wilt... I love them.

                  These new ones are stunning.

one question though: doesn't Wonder Woman have silver (or at least gold) bracelets? What's up with the blue? She still looks freaking awesome though. I was just curious how the decision was arrived at.

She is definitely my favorite out of all the waves!

The Mego Wonder Woman has blue (printed) bracelets. Part of the retro charm.

Anyone get these from Entertainment Earth yet? I had a case pre-ordered, and then they switched the case pack-out, so I canceled it and ordered just a set. So I may be at the end of the line, but I was just curious if EE was shipping them yet.

Weren't the Superfriends WW's bracelets blue as well?

As I recall, back in the 70s, they were blue in the comics too. I think they were supposed to be more like unlinked manacles (if I'm remembering GA WW correctly), so there were supposed to be like iron shackles or something -- it was only after the Linda Carter show and then the Byrne re-do and the Perez re-do that they got to be silver.

Wonder Woman in the comics (and in the style guide) has blue bracelets.
In the recent years, Alex Ross and others have made them silver because
it's possible to show metallic silver now in print.

That is what I was wondering. I have a set ordered as well as a set of GB. I see they ha e cases of the GB as well as single Venkmans. They don't show any sets in though. Starting to look less likely to have wave 3 under the tree this X-mas. Either way I know I'll get them but i am so excited. I can't wait. Lol.

One thing I didn't see addressed, and that is, what's the word on emblem cracking on these (ie; for The Flash)? Have they switched to a more permanent process? Just curious
