Is Amazon no longer preordering DC Retro?

My friend John was just in his local comic shop in NY asking about the DC retro figures and he sent me the following email:
"I asked about the next wave of DC Heroes and was told that Diamond has canceled all orders for them and will re solicit them in the future. I just checked Amazon and they are no where! They were just there a few days ago!"

I know EntertainmentEarth is still preordering...

Diamond has a policy of holding a pre-order for XXX days from offering.

Since wave 3 has been pushed back from Fall 2010 to Winter 2011,
due to internal Mattel production issues, I guess Diamond is letting
retailers off the hook until the product ships.
