    Universal Monsters are here!

I just got my cases via FedEx a few minutes ago, and they look great! I opened a set and Frankenstein's right hand is loose, but other than that I have no complaints at all.

Here they are hanging out with my Mego monsters:

Thanks for posting these pics. I finall did get an email confirmation saying my figures have shipped. I keep checking the fed ex link to track them! Any day now! The photos look so great I can't stop looking at them! I can't wait to get mine! Oh- Does the Wolfman have a brown shirt on underneath his jacket? His chest doesn't look like plastic...... at least on my monitor....

I received mine as well today. I agree with everyone that they are fantastic. The picture below in this thread is awsome. But if someone could post a picture of all of the originals MEGO Monsters next to the 2 new EMCE Monsters, that would be even better!

these monsters are just so cool,i bought two sets,so that i can take one set out, what detail, its amazing, the wolfmans hands and feet are even painted under the paws, the frankenstien monster is fantastic, clever the way they made his large boots, with hands so large, and feet for the wolfman, your not gonna get their outfits off easy.but emce has a winner with these, but who is nelson that did the art work?.i was spoiled with harols shulls art.not to say this nelson doesnt know his thing, hes good.i hate the twisty ties.all in all i hope we see many monsters in the future, side show did some great stuff, but these are the best i have seen to date, cudos to emce

I have never been easy to please and Paul knows that from experience. I remember all the details he wanted to put into the emce Gorn and I realize that it takes some trial and error before companies really soar with original costumes, sculpts & paint jobs.

I'm usually happy with a head & a costume, but heads, hands, feet, boots.
This is the full meal deal!
These figures are amazing! I am happy to say I am REALLY impressed by the look of these figures. It is great to see what happens when emce/ Doc Mego actually gets everything produced the way he intended. These figures look even better than the prototypes. I am so happy I ordered these figures.
I am watching the fedex tracking daily! I can't wait for mine to arrive.

Thank You Paul for bringing the mego magic back!
I feel like a child waiting for Christmas all over again!
                      Cheers,

The Wolfman was completely John Farley - except for the painting.
Universal Studios style guide is a cruel taskmaster.

Frankenstein, on the other hand, was all Joe and I, except for the
head sculpt - which was done by Sean Sansom - who also did
                            Brick Mantooth/Super Collector.

John made outfits for Frank and Wolfie, but we ended up having
to redo almost everything to get them approved.
