I received a Toys R Us ad in the mail the other day that was like 70 pages thick. You would think that would be a fantastic place to put an add for a line of figures that is exclusive to your company. Not a single picture of the retro mattel figures. What a waste. Its moments like this that I know Toys R Us and Mattel just dont have the desire to see this line thrive, and become as big as it could.

Im thinking I might post an open letter to Mattel soon, regarding this situation. It's really sub standard.

Just visit any toy forum and copy/paste here one of the many other open letters to Mattel about their distribution issues (just swap the brand name to DC Retro Heroes). It'll be a time saver for you.

And blatantly apeing Mego's TEEN TITANS wave release with character choices simillar to Mego's isn't a good idea in which way?

            If they did a Robin/Wonder Girl/Aqualad/Kid Flash/Speedy wave,
I don't see how it could hurt them.

Same as it ever was for Mattel.

I guess I won't bother then. Oh well. It was a thought.

Granted we never saw the first wave at TRU up here in Canada, but I cant complain about wave 2 at all. It showed up in numbers, and has been steadily clearing out and getting re-stocked....At least in Calgary and Lethbridge. Maybe they are shipping all those US bound figures up here because wave 1 didnt sell out so fast??

Interesting thought. They sure as F haven't been showing up in Northeast Ohio. Makes me angry thinking about it. What a joke.

                        Wichita

Wave 2 is still not in Wichita, Ks. Thank goodness for Amazon. I keep checking the online stores for Wave 3, I really think they will show up soon, just a feeling.

BBTS was advertising wave 3 as an October preorder and now shows November. Any word on whether November is a reailty or just a glimmer of hope.

I think a lot of us would love to see Flash under our Christmas tree.
