No Emce Diamond Monsters at Comic Con?

Really I am not thrilled by going to the Comic Con. I am a bit old school and tho I do like finding a retro item here and there I wouldn't lose sleep over not having gone especially with THE WALL at MSG this week.

Anyhow, after arguing with my wife that 40 bucks is worth it for me to just do a quick scan of what is going on, I was really disappointed to not see any signs of the Universal Monsters 8" we are all waiting for, being close to Halloween and all. I normally really don't complain about things like when toys show up, but I went out of my way to buy the Diamond Select Mummy and the Mini-Mates Wolfman set, being a Monster fan obviously.

i was at the diamond booth today there and they were on display. if you were looking for them to buy, i know they're on the water. my 20 cases should be here shortly, so everyone else should have them by then.

Yep, both Frankie and Wolf Man were on display, top shelf. Both sculpts looked great! I did noticed two things though. First, Frankenstein was channeling the Hulk, he's a bit under-sized. Secondly, Wolf Man's clothes were a bit too snug. Still can't wait till these two arrive. Hate the fact that it'll be only two figures per year. At that rate, this line might not grow very big.
