I would think that if Hasbro made 8" retro style figures of not just Marvel heroes, but Star Wars and GI Joe as well that the risk would be smaller for them, after all if one line did not sell well the bodies could be used for the other lines, and I can't imagine that 8" Star Wars wouldn't sell, even Hasbro was surprised that the Star Wars lines stayed as strong as they did after Episode III had come and gone and there were no new movies on the horizon.

I can't discuss any details. When everything is over, I will write a book
and tell all.
Trust me - we are not idle.
As for oven mitts - I always hated them because it kept Batman from
holding a rope or a batarang. Even Mr. Fantastic's plastic gloves
prevent him from holding the Ultimate Nullifier!Comment

Not for the direct Market via Diamond. Note the Marvel Select figures are not Hasbro.

Any toy company these days ONLY has the rights to characters within a size-range OR a style, or a style and size-range.
Hasbro has Marvel rights for "action-figures" in various sizes (not sure all)
Art Asylum has Marvel rights for the mini-mates
Marvel Select for figures above the HASBRO scale rights
Bowen Design for MARVEL statues
Moebius Models for model kits, in certain scales
Mattel for Marvel Barbie (they did have)
Etc, etc.
It works the same for other brands too.Comment

would be shocked "W T F" as EMCE've been putting out product for years
and haven't done it yet."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I think the Andorian gloves work very well. Both of them are "open" hand gloves... They can come up with one "fist/closed hand" glove and release for each gloved figure one and one.Comment
