Night of the Living Dead 1/6th figures

It was mentioned previously that Fearwerx/Emce owns the trademark to Night of the Living Dead.

I'm just wondering if you guys had any input into the 1/6th scale NotLD figures other than licensing out the brand?

I guess with the 8" line officially off, there is no use leveraging/piggybacking the tooling/sculpts/production of the 1/6th line?

We let the folks at Executive Replicas and Amok Time do whatever they want with the brand for their 1/6 line. They were the ones who helped facilitate some of the introductions to talent to begin with, and they were the first ones to make sure royalties went to the actors. They even tracked down Duane Jones' family to make sure they got paid. My obtaining the trademark was the result of a loophole I exploited and we exercise it only to keep people from making merch without paying the actors or the original producers. Kyra usually is contacted directly by people who want to make product with her likeness and she calls and asks me if the product/manufacturer is legit, and if so I just say "have at it and put my legal line on it".

Now, the sad thing is, ER can do their 1/6 scale figures with a resin head and do short runs, whereas the MOQ on a fully-Mego'd-out figure has doubled from where it was when we put out the first two. And sadly, there just ain't enough demand for that many. And Judy and Kyra sure aren't happy about that, either.

In addition, we could put out a solid head 8" Kyra, but it wouldn't be a Mego and I'd feel like we were gypping the whole concept behind what we're doing.
