elements - and the all important facial expression - that could get lost in
the smoothness of vinyl.

More importantly though is the question of fan base. Is there a monthly
comic? TV show? webepisodes? How do you find her fans?

Sadly, though I am a giant tankgirl fan, as well as massive mego fan, I don't believe she'd survive the transformation to giantly-massive, bobbly-headed old school megoism.

I've had custom Tankgirl on tap for a while - but she's one of those rare figs that I'll be "frontsliding" on and not doing in Retro style. I'm just about done on my version of the popular Jakks Torso Mod Body and Tank will have a 7" frame.

If I was a Tank Girl fan, I'd look into what 3A will likely be doing soon. Those guys do some incredible stuff and I'm sure they'll put their same level of effort into this property. They can properly cater to the demand of fans I'd think, but no real details have been released yet.

i tend to agree...i love "tank girl", but the level of detail and accessories are just not where we're going. we're already taking enough heat on this board for getting too modern on some figures, and if we did tank girl like a '70s retro mego-style it would just...well, suck, i think.

accessories maybe, but the detail can be fantastic. The headsculpt on the Barnabas figure is outstanding. Mego's own Conan and Thor are pretty gritty as well, so I would debate that the head could be done.

s'ok tho. leave something for the customizers.

i love ya, emce. and tank girl is not only one of my favorite properties, but also the most tragically under-marketed.

having said this, i'm totally aware of the reasons it wouldn't work for you. i know i'd be pleased as punch with it, but i know i'd be in the minority.

i'm still fairly confident you'd make it rule, though.
