    Seriously... what about Robin?

Title says it all. I am really loving all of the new Megos but I don't know about getting a Batman with no Robin in sight. A little insight anyone?

Haven't you heard? Due to a very sluggish economy Batman had to cut back on his help and well you know what that means. See you Robin!!

Seriously though I do not know what kind of trick that Mattel has up their sleeve this time. I could never imagine them making a Batman without a Robin eventually. I believe that they will make a Robin it is just a matter of when. ???

If you squint real hard, that Twilight Zone ventriloquist dummy kinda looks like Robin.

      Out of costume, of course.

I really agree. I think this line will only survive with heavy hitters. We need Robin,Joker,Penguin,Riddler,Supergirl,Batgirl,Catw oman,Hawkman,Hawkgirl,
Plastic Man and Black Canary. The thing that hurts Mattel's DC Universe line is so many minor characters most people don't know or even heard of that you see warming the pegs. If this retro line goes that way it won't survive past next year. So far all the characters released have been well known. That is the key to success. Robin is a must...and I really hope he is in 7" or 7 1/2" scale to really fit in best with Batman. One of the biggest complaints of the original Mego was Robin's big scale. Even little kids knew it was off.
It will be hurtful to the line if Robin is in wave 5.

Right on Scott: Robin is one of the few characters that is absolutely guaranteed to be in the pipeline.

Maybe an adult Earth-Two Robin as a Matty exclusive could hold us over

Exactly. Not buying Batman because there's no Robin yet is stupid. Get yourself a Batman and Robin will soon follow

Yes, we know Robin will come...but we've already seen the line up of Wave 3(& no Robin)...so how long will they make us wait is the question?

I spoke with Dr. Mego a few weeks ago when I placed an order, and while he cannot say when, he did say that Robin would eventually be in the line. I personally hope he looks like the SuperFriends rendition as far as head and mask go. So, at least we know he's on the drawing board.

                  Cheers.

Can't wait for Robin. I want him so bad posed next to my Batman.

                          Robin and more!

I'm sure they are saving Robin and other Batman goodies just before the next movie comes out-like they are doing for the GL movie so Batman fans like myself will probably have to wait about a year. Move comes out in 2012. I'm guessing Scarecrow, Catwoman and Joker(& maybe Riddler) are a good bet!
Probably in the next round they will have Supergirl and Brainiac. I'd also say since Robin hasn't come out yet it's a sign of a different size(body type) so it's probably a good bet he is 7"!

There is no doubt that Mattel will make a Robin. It is just a matter of time. I only wish they make the Silver Age Dick Grayson Robin. Also, I expect them to sculpt him with the hair combed to the side (Not the Mego hair curls) and definitely not laughing!

I'm hoping to see a College age Dick Grayson. But I've learned not to get my hopes up too high(case in point...Batman).
