Kevin Conroy is my favorite Batman voice, but I'd have to go with Danny Dark for the Mattel Superman figure. It fits too well.

Yeah, just think...a talking Robin that says "Holy ****, Batman! Your emblem fell off!"

But seriously...that would be cool. I miss Superman saying "Up, up, and awaaaay!"

I'm glad they don't. I like my toys to be silent, and toys with voice chips always have reduced articulation.

Though I like how the Playmates Simpsons line handled it.

Sadly Olan Soule who was the voice of animated batman for the 60's-the 80's died in 1994. Adam would be a great choice for a sound chip but odds are we'de get Christian Bale hissing into the mic

BTW this link has his photo and it is very different from the face my minds eye conjured of him

While Soule certainly did not look like Batman in any humanly possible way, I always thought the late Danny Dark looked like Superman with a moustache.

And count me in on not needing voice chips in my toys.

If they don't actually look like Adam West and Burt Ward, retro Batman and short pants Robin will always sound like Olan Soule and Casey Kasem to me.

I would love talking figures. Fill 'em all full of lines from the Superfriends.

I'd rather see properly articulated figures first, without adding a sound-box to make the torso more top-heavy.

I always hear Adam West or Olan Soule as Batman when I read my comics. And thanks to JimsMegos, I have a whole bunch of The Adventures of Superman w/ Bud Collyer. I love the way Clark Kent changes his voice when his slips off the clothes and is in his costume. But, I love Danny Dark in the Superfriends too.

And the only toy I want a sound chip in is BifBangPow's Talky Tina. I know they're making a 18" talking version in 2011, but it would be nice if the little one had a voice chip.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
