Just got Barnabas and Angelique in. They are both awesome. Just one minor problem with my Angelique. She has two right hands. Probably something witchy gone awry. For a practioner of the Dark Arts that may even be beneficial, but nonetheless I would like to have a normal figure. Should I contact Spectre about a replacement hand? Or I wonder if maybe I should just get a replacement hand through some other means. Looks like Barnabas finally got some payback!Comment

I just got my Barnabas and Angelique. Opening now.....
Angelique
Quibbles: Squishy head with molded hair. Vacant expression. Washed out looking paint job.
Pluses:
Excellent base body by DocMego. Dress is fairly good; no loose threads or popped seams. Shoes are nicely detailed and don't fall off easily.
Barnabas
Quibbles: Eyes are the wrong color. Jonathan Frid has dark brown eyes. The figure has light blue.
Pluses: Body is excellent. Clothing is well sewn, and the cane is a great accessory.
Overall, I can live with the quibbles. Otherwise, these figures are outstanding!JediJaidaComment

Got mine today....Besides the BBP Twilight Zone figures, these are the BEST Re-Mego figures out there IMO. The headsculpt on the werewolf alone is phenomenal!Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

LMAO. Good one, Anthony. It's just a thing between me and Farley... He loves that show and though I can 100% appreciate the nostalgia part of it (C'mon, I like all the Krofft shows), but Dark Shadows just seemed more geared towards adults... I can see a hardcore monster hound like Farley being into it, but my guess would be that most kids would find it inexorably boring. At least I did.

When MPI got the home video rights in the early 90s I was ALL over that stuff!Last edited by The Toyroom; Aug 26, '10, 10:20 PM.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

I can't watch any of this Nonsense ..., However I do want a Werewolf.
Them figures do look So well done. Mattel should take Note here.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures .Comment

I got the werewolf in the mail today and the lady and barnabas are coming tommorow. Sweet figures as far as detail. I was more a fan of the newer dark shadows series. Never got to watch the older ones.Comment

I wonder if Spectre Toys will do figures for the 1990s series or even better the new movie that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are working on. Any vampire figures that aren't from "Twilight" are a plus in my book! Also I wouldn't mind seeing some other vampire properties like Hammers vampire movies, a Frank Langella Dracula would also be cool, I'd even like that one from that movie " Love at First Bite"! My favorite of all time though would be some vampires from Stephen King's, "Salems Lot".Last edited by bgiles73; Aug 26, '10, 10:08 PM.Comment

Got mine last week. THe Angelique head is a little too squishy, and the eyes are a little off, but thats really the only thing wrong I can find. Both she and Barnabus look really good, like some of the best figures Mego put out. THey're excellent examples of how the Mego style can translate into great figures even today.Comment

I've been watching the Witch storyline and boy would Reverend Trask make a great figure. Jerry Lacy sure had a creepy look in the role.Comment
