Canadian Retro Sighting at TRU

I read the rumours here and even though I'd stopped in twice this week (kids) I got in the car and found this!



$22.99 and it was overflowing with Batmen. Really happy to see them there.

nah there were two.

When I got in some kid was standing in front of them holding that twoface going "daddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddaddad!" I had to wait for him to go away to take a photo.

Good news! nothing beats seeing a cool toy on the pegboards in a real live toy store.

Nah, I got a set through ebay for like $90 shipped a couple weeks back, cheaper considering this set would have been $92 plus the 13% HST.

However, if my son gets invited to any birthday parties, I'm totally pushing for Retroaction.

The interesting thing for me is that it doesn't look like any french has been included in the packaging (or stickered on). Or is that no longer a thing with Canadian toys?

^^^^Depends on where its sold. If you dont plan to distribute in quebec (and possibly some other provinces?) you can get by with just English packaging.

I found these in the Cross Iron Mills mall in Balzac Alberta, so the Calgary stores must have them too...just havent hit the shelves. I was there when they put them out. 2 Superman, 4 Batman, 2 Aquaman, 2 Two-Face, and 2 Black Manta seem to be the packaging assortment for up here. (6 figures per box, but two boxes packed in one larger one.)

My local comic shop has them on the shelf for $29.99.

Nothing at our local Winnipeg TRU yesterday but I have Series 2 on order from a comic shop for what should be close to the same price.
