I finally found mine! they were at a TRU express in Taunton MA. at the Silver City Galleria! I bought all four of wave 2 but my Batman doesn't have the painted eyebrows? One did but I noticed that one had a bat emblem that wasn't quite right so I got the one without the eyebrows as to me it looked perfect expect that and it also looks more megy without the eyebrows to me.

Just a random observation, I haven't seen a post on the case pack out yet but i'm thinking Superman is packed in with the Wave 2 cases.

Yes, there is one yellow carded Superman in every case of Wave 2.

Since the first sightings came in, I had been religiously checking our local Toys R Us every week with no luck. Then when I heard about this Toys R Us Express suggestion, I looked... and sure enough... the Toys R Us Express in the mall had them... pretty much two of every figure in Wave 2.

The funny thing: the mall is *directly* across the street from Toys R Us.

I don't claim to understand it.

                Inventory allocation

TRU Express is getting wave 2 first because of the timing. Express is
a short term expansion for the holidays and it has to be stocked now,
so new shipments of product is being routed to the Express stores
over the regular TRU. As more product arrives from China, the
regular TRUs will get wave 2.

                      Nothing

No sign of Wave 2 in Wichita, Ks. They have no plans to open an Express location. I will wait it out until the end of September, I might have to buy them online.

My TRU only had 2 Batmans and 1 Aquaman. They had one Aquaman awhile back and then it was gone. My son and I asked about Two-Face and the employee said that he wasn't on the truck that morning.
So they are coming in hit and miss.

                          Superman in wave 2 case

It's the same card as wave 1 - the standard case assortment for wave 2
                          is 3 Batmans, 2 Two-Face, 1 Aquaman, 1 Black Manta, and 1 Superman.

                          Or maybe it's 1 Two-Face and 2 Aquamans - I can't remember exactly,
but the gist was that since Batman and Superman are what kids want,
they should continue to be available.

I gave up on TRU and got them online weeks ago. All the hassle of going there and having no employees even know or care what I was talking about reminded me of why I hadn't stepped in a TRU in years. Shame just a great idea has been ruined by bad execution. I still don't know why it's TRU exclusive persay...even if walmart had only bought one case per store they would have sold more figures than all the TRU combined.

I think your right about the sales. I wonder what was the reason? Maybe they were the only one's to show interest so they got the series as an exclusive for them? Just a thought.

About TRU the one's I went to all had really nice employee's, who if they didn't know looked it up for me. I found some don't seem to even carry the figures. Which is odd since they are exclusives??
